Sergey Cherkalin is the Director of the Rybinsk State Historical, Architectural and Art Museum Preserve. In 2000 this museum was the first one in Russia to publish its collections online. Sergey Cherkalin talks about how he moved in his career from an engineer to a  museum director, argues about museum management in a small Russian city, and describes the role of ICTs in the Rybinsk museum.
